Many people have not realized how far they have been walking everyday. Just because we are staying at home, not going anywhere...it does not mean that we are not moving at all.
First thing, when we woke up in the morning, we have to go to toilet. The distance from our bed to the toilet must be noted to start calculating our mileage of the day. How many times per day we went to toilet or wash room and from which position of our house that we started to walk?
The size and the design of our house also will cause us to walk just little bit only or maybe more from one spot to another. If we have a double storey house ( whether it is a Bungalow or Semi Detached house ), we may have to walk more for going up and going down. For those who are staying at apartments, hotels, flats or condominiums they have to walk more, and especially for those staying at first or second floors they normally skipped the elevator and used stairways instead to save their time.
So, if we take into consideration of every steps and every movements that we have at home, we are actually have been traveled every day in numerous kilometers without realizing the same, even though we are only at home and not going anywhere. This is the real fact and it is true. Start calculating today and prove to me that I was wrong.
Then, if we take into consideration about our movement out of our homes, then mileage is more. Think about going to our work place plus the movements there, going shopping after office in a place like Mid Valley Mega Mall plus movements there, then going home for miles or kilometers. If we add it together, we might have been traveled for 50 over kilometers just for one day only. Imagine our total mileage for a week, a month and a year? We might have been traveled throughout the whole states in Peninsular of Malaysia for several times just in one month perhaps!

If we are going somewhere far away from our homes then the mileage are greater of course.

How many miles or kilometers have been walked for a person in its whole life then?
